Hiking, biking or jogging, there are numerous local footpaths on your doorstep. The Chenies and The Chess Valley walk are just two exceptional routes, amongst many, to explore and enjoy straight from the cottage.
A short drive to Warner Bros Studio which we highly recommend. There are many local gastro pubs and restaurants to try out and a few stops on the train will get you into London. 10 minutes away are supermarkets and the towns of Rickmansworth, Chorley Wood, Watford and Hemel Hempstead
If you get tired of relaxing you can enjoy watching the local wild birds. There's ample photography opportunities and plenty of inspiration for artists. A Kingfisher hide is available on the grounds, for an extra special experience.
